Get Well

Here is a Get Well card I made on behalf of my mother. She wanted something with a cow, to bring a smile. I looked on the Internet to find a clip art image that would work. I found a few; you'll probably see more cards like these on my blog in a near future.

I printed multiple copies of my selected image.

I went through my stash of scrap paper and pulled out the colours I wanted to use.

Using the Dotto Dots Dispenser I applied removable adhesive on the back of my image to glue them to the cardstocks.

I then trimmed out the part of the image I wanted in that specific colour. I did this for every part of the image.

I removed the top paper rubbing away the adhesive with the Rub & Remove Eraser; I inked the edges of each pieces and drew the details needed. I used chalks for the colours on the face and Opaques Adhesive Gems in Licorice for the eyes.

On the background I place a piece of scrap paper and sponged on some ink for the floor.

And here is the final look to my paper pieced get well card.
