This week I decided to combine Heart 2 Heart’s colour challenge along with Mojo Monday 197 sketch.
I got an order in last week and I was eager to try out my new stamp set. It’s was one that I always admire and envied my customer who got it. Now I’m the lucky one. Yeah!! I selected Outdoor Denim for my blue and I opted for the square card for the obvious reason that it is easier to cut out a square then a circle.
All the material used for this card is from CTMH. Here is the list.
Cardstock:
Outdoor Denim
Barn Red
Bamboo
Ink:
Outdoor Denim Z2104
Barn Red Z2104
Stamp Set:
Ciao D1461
Other:
3D tape
Hemp
Glue Dots
Crop-A-Dile
1 1/4" Circle Punch
I cut out the postage circle stamp with the CTMH circle punch. I then glued it to a piece of Barn Red cardstock and then I freestyles trimmed it for the matting.
I used the Crop-A-Dile small hole punch to create the look of a postage stamp.
At first I found the background much too plain. So I stamped the same image that was stamped in the center in outdoor denim for a tone on tone look. As well as a greeting on the top.
And Voila!! the final product.

Summer Fun Card - Mojo Monday 196
This is my first time participating to the Mojo Monday Challenges. It fact this card is for the Mojo Monday Challenge 196. I flipped the sketch so that the circle would be to the right for my “pocket”.
I used mainly Red, White, and Blue because those colours coordinated with my paper so well. But the end result makes it look very much like a USA Patriotic card. The only problem with that is that I am very much Canadian. I hope I still get to use this card.
I plan on putting a photo of my boys on the front insert. Probably make this a card for their grandparents.
Here is the list of material used (all from Close To My Heart)
Cardstock:
White
Paper:
Fanfare B&T Duos
Ink:
Cranberry Z2116
Pacifica Z2192
Stamp Set:
Fanfare B1377
Other:
Ribbon
Brad from Level 2 Assortment Fanfare Z1400
CuttleBug Star embossing folder (the only non CTMH product)
And there we go, here are a few more close-up pictures.

Thanks A Latte
So I've been blog hopping. I use that phrase a lot in my blog. I love blog hoping, my favorite list of blogs is crazy long.
Anyways as I was saying; I was blog hopping when I came across these super cute coffee mug cards. Now I apologize to the original crafter who made these. I save the picture of things that I liked and inspires me to a "to scraplift" folder. So by the time I use them I don't know where they came from.
I was making these lovely cards to showcase at my next team meeting, and to have for my next gathering when I realized.... Wait a minute!!! This meet the criteria for this weeks H2H Challenge. So Voila!
I'm placing my stamped scallop circle punch in the doily category cause frankly it really looks like one now. I'm also using ribbon and gems. BINGO!!!!
Here is the list of material used for this card.
Cardstock:
White, Kraft
Ink:
Cocoa
Spring Iris
Stamp Sets:
D1444 A Little Thanks
D1463 Backgrounds & Borders
Others:
Opaques Licorice Gems
White Crossgrain Ribbon
1 1/4" Circle Punch
2" Scallop Circle Punch

My Wedding Day
DayHeart 2 Heart is celebrating weddings this week. The challenge is to showcase a scrapbook/card project done for a wedding. Well I couldn’t resist this opportunity to share my own wedding album. My colours where light and dark blue and of course white. So when I made my album I used the same scheme with my paper. My cardstock are mostly from CTMH and so is the ink and stamp set I used throughout the album, but I’m afraid my pattern paper is from some mystery supplier. I can’t remember where it is from.
That spiral clip is also from CTMH.
I manage to get a huge oil stain on my dress from taking pictures with the DirtBike *GRIN* Ahhh memories.
And VOILA... my wedding day.

H2H58 A Heart2Heart Challenge
The challenge this week at Heart2Heart is a sketch. Yay!!! I have to admit I didn’t just come up with this idea. I bought a few new scrapbooking magazines and while flipping through my Scrapbook & Cards Today. I saw a card that worked perfectly for this sketch.
First on a piece of scrap cardstock I drew half of a butterfly. I glued it to a folded card with removable adhesive and cut out around then flipped it and cut out the other half. With a pencil I drew a horizontal and vertical line so I could see where the piece of paper would meet.
Using scraps from the Sweetheart Level 2 paper pack I glued a difference pattern on each corner and trimmed off the excess. I created the body out of black cardstock and sanded all the edges.
Finally I added the flowers to a punch out scalloped circle from Tulip cardstock and placed a large circle sparkle to the middle. I stamped my sentiment on the pink side of a B&T Duos and matted it to black cardstock. A few more blings and VOILA!!! My card!
Items used:
Sweetheart Level 2 Paper Kit
Sparkles
Miracle Stamp Set
White, Tulip, Black Cardstock
Flowers
