Thanks A Latte

So I've been blog hopping. I use that phrase a lot in my blog. I love blog hoping, my favorite list of blogs is crazy long.

Anyways as I was saying; I was blog hopping when I came across these super cute coffee mug cards. Now I apologize to the original crafter who made these. I save the picture of things that I liked and inspires me to a "to scraplift" folder. So by the time I use them I don't know where they came from.

I was making these lovely cards to showcase at my next team meeting, and to have for my next gathering when I realized.... Wait a minute!!! This meet the criteria for this weeks H2H Challenge. So Voila!

I'm placing my stamped scallop circle punch in the doily category cause frankly it really looks like one now. I'm also using ribbon and gems. BINGO!!!!

Here is the list of material used for this card.
White, Kraft

Spring Iris

Stamp Sets:
D1444 A Little Thanks
D1463 Backgrounds & Borders

Opaques Licorice Gems
White Crossgrain Ribbon
1 1/4" Circle Punch
2" Scallop Circle Punch

  1. Very nice.
I have done this one too, and it is a fun one for a guy.

  2. Melanie, this is adorable! Does it slip together like a pocket? I really like spring iris as a colour and it looks fresh with the chocolate ink!

  3. Thanks Romaine, and yes the outer cup is a pocket.

  4. Very cute card! Your scalloped circle does look like a doily. Thanks for playing H2H bingo!

  5. I just love this. What a cute card.

  6. Hi, Melanie.
    I love the card.

  7. The stamped circle does indeed look like a doily, but I REALLY like the inking on the sentiment. Cool. Thanks for playing H2H bingo with us!

  8. I made some of these at Christmas, and LOVE them! Great pattern/stamps for this - glad you could play bingo with us at H2H this week :o)

  9. What an ingenious card! I have never seen this pattern before. Thanks for joining us at H2H!
